2 month old

Madison is two months old. I can't believe that it has gone by so fast! She is growing like crazy. We are getting some good sleep at night. We are able to sleep until about four in the morning. She is smiling at fans and lights. We are so blessed to be her parents. She is so much fun. I just look at her at times and can't believe that she is ours. I am anxious to see what God has in store for our precious angel.

She had her two month check up. She is 9 lbs 11 ozs. I can't believe it. She got her shots which was so hard for me. I took the rest of the day off to spend time with her in case she had a reaction to the shot. She did great though.

Back to work

I started back to work full-time today which is hard for me because I am not with her all day long. The week will go by fast. She is smiling really big now and eating a whole bunch more. It is crazy to watch her grow. She will be two months on Sunday

Frio River Trip

Madison went on her first trip to the Frio River with my family. She had so much fun just being able to hang out with her uncles, Granny, and Pappaw.

She SMILED!!

Madison smiled for the first time today!! It was so amazing to see her make a new facial expression. She is growing like crazy and can't fit into her premie outfits anymore.

First Real Bath

We finally got to give Madison a real bath. Her umbilical cord didn't fall off until she was 4 weeks old. It took forever.

First Overnight Trip

We have taken our first overnight trip to Barton Creek Resort for Brad's Regional Meeting. She did great and we also put her in the childcare for the first time. It was hard for me, but she did great. We thank God for such a wonderful baby.

One month old

Today, Madison is one month old. She is growing like crazy. She is now more on a schedule eating every three hours, and has asleep and awake times in between. When she is awake we try and do some tummy time with her to strengthen her neck muscles. She knows how to use her voice now, which is nice to hear since we really didn't hear it much the first couple of weeks at home. She is also started to lose some of her hair on top. I go back to work in two weeks which I am not really looking foward to doing, but we have to do for the time being. More to come next month...

Church

We took her to church for the first time. She did great and everyone enjoyed seeing her. We enjoyed being able to see all of our friends.

Due Date

Today was my due date. Madie is now three weeks old. She is growing and doing great. We are getting use to the sleep deprivation. We really enjoy being her parents. She has truly blessed us.
